We are currently not certified organic, but are familiar with organic growing standards (CCOF) having supported previous farms Liz worked at through the certification process, and are following those principles guidelines, so no pesticides, no synthetic fertilisers. We use a Kelp finishing liquid feed, acceptable under organic certification.

Liz's background is in ecological horticulture and they are growing local grown flowers in a sustainable way (or trying thier very best to theres always room for improvement). This is thier first season at this growing site, which is located near a dairy farm (In Stithians area), so they have had access to well rotted cow manure, which is used as a top dressing feed on the flower beds.

All seeds are produced with peat free compost onsite in my poly tunnel. They keep a long field edge along the lower stream side of the field to continue to provide habitat for insects birds small mammals etc and would like to enhance this boarder in future seasons with additional wildflower sowings.
